Again this is just to get an idea of what is going on in the fight. Feel free to discuss the fight and provide input.

I'm not personally a fan of Fatboss, but they do explain the abilities so take a look.

Take a look at the Wowhead guide for some more info and a general idea of what kind of strat we will be using.

There are 3 current strats going around from what I've found out. I think with our current gear 4 healing and pushing before the 3rd wave is very viable. Some people dont recommend that strat for progression though, and recommend to push after double sisters. The 4 heal push before 3rd wave is the current "go to" strat, and if we have meet the dps req it will be the fastest/easiest way to down him.

From MMO:
6 Healers 3 tanks with 4x drakes is probably the most difficult to pull off (given current gear), because no matter HOW geared your drake tank is, unless you've got a bear, he's going to get absolutely PUMMELED by 4 of them.

The "safest" way to do the boss is to 5-6 heal and aim to push right after the double sister wave - the DPS requirement to reach this is very relaxed, you have enough healers to CD through every wisp wave and just blow them up, and you can use bloodlust on the double sister wave to burn one before the second scorned touches. The only downside is a brief period with everyone having fairly high stacks untill the first sacred-patch appears in P2, but even then; With 3-4 healers on the raid, and no other damage comming, that should be a breeze.

The alternatives are:

4-5 heal and aim to push by 2:45. This requires the most singletarget DPS and raw healing output of any of the tactics. Cleave wave #1, blow up wisps with tons of raid cds, leave as many melee as possible on boss while ranged deals with the 1x sister (3x melee max so they can have max uptime on dps despite getting touches). If you've got more than 3 melee, have the mobile ones switch to the sister as well, again to max DPS uptime. You lust on pull here and make sure to second pot before the 2:45 mark to make the dps check. Spriests likely have to surrender early and die somewhere in P2, to help boost the DPS.

6 heal and do 4x drakes. As already stated, you will get smashed doing this. Lust used on double sisters (as with only 11x dps you'll take awhile to kill them). Cleave wave #1 and wave #4 (single ancient) on top of boss, unless boss is close to being pushed to 35% before the second ancient dies (which he probably is).
